News and Notes

Feb. 8  New schedule for March "Super Hive" posted. Note early start time: 10am; doors open at 9:30am. Remember we're at Minute Man Technical High School; please follow the Hive signs to the main entrance (turn left just before the school building).
Feb. 8  Because of the storm, the February Hive has been cancelled. The March Hive will be a "Super Hive" incorporating all content from both Hives.

Jan. 6  Note locations: All 2013 Sunday Hive sessions will take place at Minuteman Vocational Technical High School; see directions.

You can now register for Hive events on the Schedule page.

The Hive was created for the living history community as a place to develop, improve and grow 18th century impressions—where current research about material culture in 1770’s New England could be shared. In addition, The Hive is available as a resource to help volunteers and participants attain Battle Road and Minute Man National Historical Park clothing standards.

The Sunday Hive sessions are free of charge and open to Park Volunteers and members of the living history community. Please note that some clinics have materials costs, which are payable to the instructor on the day of the clinic.

Pre-registration is recommended—and greatly appreciated!—for both Hive lectures and clinics so we can plan for adequate space and materials. We are using Eventzilla for registration. Please register on the Schedule page.
